Pass the gate.Win the interview.

10 full-length practice tests in the shape NEIEP publishes: Reading 35, Mechanical 35, Math 30. Reading is cloze fill-in-the-blank like the real test, mechanical items are illustrated with 3 options, math has 5 options ending in "No answer". No test repeats another's questions. Untimed, with an optional pace clock, because NEIEP does not publish a time limit.

The interview is what ranks you, so the app lets you sit one. An AI plays the two-person JAC panel, asks questions in a real panel’s order, follows up when an answer is thin, then scores you on commitment, mechanical background, safety, reliability, taking direction and communication, with a note on every answer.

Tap “Ask the tutor” under any explanation and get the question worked step by step: gear trains, levers, fractions, ratios, a cloze sentence. It also knows which recruitment windows are open right now.

Section drills with the answer and explanation after every question, drills by topic (belt drives, block and tackle, ratios, vocabulary in context), and a missed-question drill that builds itself from what you got wrong. Results by section against the 70% line.

Questions written the way a JAC panel questions an applicant: hoistway safety, working as a mechanic’s helper, heights and pits, travel and hours. For each: why the panel asks it, what a complete answer covers, and the answer that loses points. Write your own and get AI feedback.

All 82 NEIEP recruitment areas across 65 IUEC locals, checked against NEIEP’s published list. Reminders 7 days before your window opens, the day before, when it opens and the day before it closes, plus a link to your local’s official site. Free for everyone.

Study guides for every section with worked examples, 70 tool flashcards for the tool assessment, and calculators: car speed, counterweight, hydraulic jack, mechanical advantage, Ohm’s law, units, fractions and an hours log.
