How this site is written
EIAT Prep’s content is written by Michael Briglio, a federally recognized pre-apprenticeship instructor who has helped hundreds of students get accepted into union apprenticeships. Test-format facts, fees, and recruitment dates come from NEIEP’s own published materials. Application and interview strategy comes from his experience preparing students for union apprenticeship selection processes — when guidance is instructor experience rather than a published fact, the page says so.
EIAT Prep is independent — not affiliated with or endorsed by the IUEC, NEIEP, or any union or testing organization.
Official Test & Program Administrator
NEIEP runs all elevator-constructor apprenticeship recruitment and administers the aptitude test. Its published materials are the gold source for every test-format fact on this site.

Note: NEIEP does not publish a time limit or calculator policy, so we never assert one.
